Each one works through the numbers a contractor will be asked to defend: what height clears a 4.2 m atrium soffit without crowding the sightline, which trunk diameter carries a 6 m canopy without visible flex, and how a base plate is detailed when the finished floor is a raised access floor. Where a figure depends on the venue — wind exposure, seismic zone, sprinkler layout — we say so rather than quoting one convenient number.
